My Baptism and Weekend Festivities

This was a very busy weekend!  All of my grandparents came back to see me and I had a great time seeing them again - I just love all of the attention.  My tummy is feeling so much better these days with the new formula and I am doing much better eating.  It was just in time for my big day!  After Cora had her two year birthday party, (the party was great by the way, so much to see and hear) on Sunday I had my baptism ceremony.

My baptism was a special day because it was exactly my three month birthday!  If I don't say so myself, I was very well behaved during church and the ceremony.  As I processed down the aisle at the beginning of the service I was so proud I held my head up high!  I had fallen asleep in Daddy's arms and when the priest first poured the water on my head it woke me from my light nap, but I didn't mind it on the second and third pour.  My godparents did a wonderful job too.  They will be great godparents. The smell of the chrism was sweet, it was like my first cologne.  Everybody smelled me during the day and said how good I smelled!

Although we had to take lots of pictures after the ceremony, I didn't mind too much.  Even though it was a great day, all of our visitors left too, so now its just me and Daddy for a couple of weeks.  We will have some great bonding time!!!

Dress Up

Last time that Grammie and Grandpa visited us, Grammie brought one of Daddy's outfits when he was a baby.  Now I can be just like Daddy!  I wish I could be like him all the time because his outfit was soooo soft I didn't want to take it off!  I will have to say it doesn't matter what you dress me in, I look dashing in anything.  However, I'm not so sure about the color pink...  Every once and a while, I have to sit in this pink chair.  I think it it was Cora's chair.  It's fun to sit in because I can look around everywhere, but I'm still getting accustomed to me in pink.  I guess its not so bad.
I've been hearing Mommy and Daddy talking and it sounds like this is the last week that it will be just me and Mommy at home.  I am going to soak up as much Mommy as possible!!!

ANGRY TIGER!

It has been awfully quiet around here the past two days.  I talk constantly to Mommy to make some noise in the house.  Even though I'm quite a picky eater towards the end of my bottle, it doesn't stop me from smiling and talking - even while I eat!  The other day after my bath, Mommy gave my hair some volume and she asked if I would pose for some pictures practicing some different looks.  She must think I am some sort of model or something the way she takes pictures of me!

Last night I got to go into my gym for the first time in a while and I took it to heart.  Daddy was in the shower and Mommy was busy and when they came back to get me I had back crawled right out of the gym onto the floor. I was just trying to show off in the gym.  Other than that, Mommy and I usually just lounge around during the day.  I can tell Mommy is feeling better everyday because we have started taking short walks again and she likes to play with me! Boy am I ever glad for that!

It has been forever since I have blogged last - please forgive me!  Things have been so busy around the house and I have been held by so many different people there is just no time for blogging.  Although I didn't see Mommy for what seemed like forever, there were a lot of people here that took such good care of me when she was not here.  First, my Mimi and Papa came to town and they took care of me, then my Grammie and Grandpa were here.  Boy, does my Grammie do a good job taking care of me and styling my hair!  
Even though I'm a real slow poke when it comes to eating, I'm just too cute for anyone to get mad at me about it.  I have been smiling a lot too.  I like it when people stick their tongue out at me and tickle my belly - THAT really makes me smile! Daddy and Grammie took me to my two month doctor's visit on Monday.  Let me tell you, I'm a growing boy!  All 11lbs 5oz of me!  It must be all that formula everyone feeds me.  I had to get a lot of shots, which I didn't like, but I checked out and am healthy.  

Things seem to be getting back to normal around the house although I really enjoyed having everyone around and spending time with my grandparents!
