First Day of PreSchool!

This past Thursday was my first day of school!! Ms Tracey is my teacher and she teaches school at her house. On Thursday morning, after breakfast, I got all packed up and ready for school. Cora and Mommy walked me to Ms Tracey's house and dropped me off for the day! I met my classmates, did a lot of playing, met Zoey (Ms Tracey's dog) and played in the sand pit. When Mommy dropped me off I was crying, when she picked me up I was crying. I didn't cry the whole time, but I did do my fair share. I'm not the best at new things and people (especially if Mommy isn't around). Plus, we ate lunch at school too. That was the first time I've ever eaten a meal without my family! Hopefully after a few weeks I'll get used to school and start to learn something!

Summer Adventure in PA Part II

And the fun in Pennsylvania continued through the end of the week. The weather cooled off quite a bit just in time for the Fourth of July festivities to start! On Thursday night, we got our pj's on and waited until it got dark for the fireworks. We went up on Grammie and Gramps roof to watch the display. While I said I enjoyed them, I also enjoyed cuddling into Mommy and Daddy's shoulder because it was way past my bedtime! On the Forth of July we went back to camp (I had been asking all week to go there) to partake in holiday festivities. We played games outside, got to drive the side by side, ate a picnic, went on a safari, enjoyed a fire and floated sky lanterns into the sky after it got dark. I had fun practicing with the baseball bat and running around the yard. We had so much fun, Cora and I talked the entire way home in the car even though it was way past our bedtime.
The day after the holiday, we relaxed and visited a cool playground with lots of cool things to explore. I even stood on the little stage and tried to sing my favorite song, still Row, Row, Row Your Boat. Even though we had a long drive home, it was well worth it after the fun week that we had at Grammie and Gramps' house!

Summer Adventure in PA Part I

Our summer trip to Pennsylvania to visit Grammie and Gramps has gotten off to a great start! We are just halfway through our safari week and I am happy to report that there hasn't been much to make me cry, except horses. Cora may be ready to ride horses, but I am not. Even a nice, old, calm pony named Norman isn't enough to thrill me into ridding horses. Luckily we have had plenty of other fun activities that I have thoroughly been enjoying.
We've had so many fun activities like blowing bubbles, fishing and playing ball in the backyard. We got to play at the park down the street, go for walks, play games, watch movies, and visit the Elk Visitor's Center. Grammie has been going nonstop all week with us, and even when she needs to rest we have a kitchen to play with and lots of monster trucks to roll around the house. Maggie is fun to play with as long as she isn't nipping my cute little toes! We took a trip to a restaurant that had goats and cows outside that we could look at, and my favorite part was eating my very own ice cream cone on the porch after dinner!!
I'm getting excited to see what the rest of the week has in store, and as long as it includes driving in the side-by-side at camp, then that will make me happy as a clam.
