Clapping for Vanna

Mommy kept wondering when I would start clap since apparently, Cora started clapping when she was 8 months. Well, little does Mommy know that the only reason I know how to clap now (I am almost 10 months by the way) is because I watch Cora night after night clap constantly pretending to be Vanna White in her "pretty dresses." I really enjoy clapping though. It's easiest to do at the table when I'm sitting in my highchair and I absolutely love how when I start clapping, everyone stops eating to clap with me!
For the most part, Cora entertains me a lot - although I think that I entertain her just as much. She loves to tackle me, push me over, pat my back, hug me, sing to me and most importantly boss me around. Either way, we have a really good time together. The other day, we posed for a picture to celebrate Great Gramps' 89th Birthday! I was doing an exceptional job posing for the camera; Cora just can't seem to sit still. We hope that Great Gramps has a very happy birthday!

Say My Name!

Mommy and Daddy don't think that I ever listen, but I do. I always hear them talk about how Cora is so advanced for her age, blah blah blah... well I can't always let her be ahead. This week I started to say my name! I open my mouth and say Aaaa, then I close it for the second part of the word for the dmmm. I believe Mommy and Daddy are impressed, and I have made it challenging for Mommy to capture it on camera!
The days are getting longer and I am really enjoying the weather as it is warming up outside! Daily walks are always a part of my routine. Playing around the house is also getting fun by the day specifically on days that Cora doesn't scream at me - although I do find it to be entertaining!  Sometimes I wonder if she has to talk constantly though. I'm sure I can attribute my early speaking talents to her since all I hear all day long is talk talk talk talk talk.

Cora just talks and talks - stop all the madness!

Big Boy

Waiting to eat in my high chair.
It has been confirmed. Just shy of 20lbs, I am a big boy! Aside from my weight, there is nothing else to report from my 9-month well visit, which is of course good news. Mommy has started making homemade vegetables for me that are delicious, so I will just keep on growing and eating as I have been.

Cora is continually showing me the ropes around the house. The other weekend, Daddy adjusted the fence around the TV so that the activity panel was more accessible. I enjoy crawling up to it and playing, especially when Cora sits next to me. Grammie celebrated her birthday recently. Mommy had Cora and me pose in a picture for her - we took A LOT of pictures and I got to wear my Valentine's day hat for the pictures. Because my hat kept coming off, Mommy called me Lil'A because I looked like a rapper wearing his hat all funky!
