Crabby But Cute

Each visitor that comes, sees less and less of a fuss from me. Compared to 4 months ago, I'm a new man! Although I do get a little out of sorts from time to time, I have come a long way from my clingy baby days. The real reason for all of this, is I don't have time to scream anymore because I just have so much to say! I just love to talk now! If you are willing to sit and listen, I really have a lot to say. I talk about what I like to eat, the weather, books I have been reading, and how cute I am. In addition to all this talking, I also have mastered climbing into chairs. Some are easier than others, but that's my most recent accomplishment.
We've had a whirlwind of visitors recently, all of whom commented on my improved behavior. That is, all except Uncle Marcus. I had never met him before this past week - so it threw me a bit. Uncle Marcus and Aunt Tracie brought cousin Saige with them on their visit to North Carolina. Saige was nice and cute, but she didn't really have much to say to me, thus I didn't really need to play with her for the most part. I like adults that will engage in conversation with me. Luckily, there were plenty of adults lounging around the house to do so. Mimi and Papa came a week ago, and Grammie and Gramps just left the other day. The best part about grandparents visiting is yes, I have more people to cuddle with and talk to, but they always come bearing gifts. I'm always much more fashionable after they leave. Overall, I've had a lot of fun the past few weeks and I'm going to continue on my path to being comfortable around people besides Mommy and Daddy.

A New World!

Watching Daddy mow the lawn for the first time at the new house!
Watching the big truck back up!
I have been a bit out of my element the past few weeks!!! All this packing and moving and sleeping different places gets me all worked up and I am doing my best to keep calm! It's a lot to take in, but I really do like my new house! My new bedroom is bigger than my old one and I'm definitely enjoying the carpeting - it's padding my constant falling. I wish I had this when I was starting to sit up and stand up to save my poor head.  It is certainly coming in handy.
Help! I'm stuck in this chair!
I love my new playroom too! Another big moving truck came after we moved in and brought some more kid-size chairs for me to sit in, however there's one slight problem - I can't get out of them once I get in!!! There's so much space for everything and we can spread out and play. Every time I go outside I seem to scrape my knees up on the driveway, but it doesn't matter because there's always a lot to see, especially all the kids and their toys playing in the street!
Putting the baby in the stroller
Strolling the baby around the house
I have added a few more words in the past weeks. If Mommy says something, I'm typically able to repeat it in some way. For instance, I try to say bear and if I see a dog out on our walks, I get really excited and start saying "Dah, dah dah!!!" I'm still working on Mommy, that's a hard one! And I've almost figured out how to wave. I wave my hands when I sit in my high chair and I'm waiting for food, so Mommy tries to teach me that it means hello and bye bye. Mommy claims that I am very smart even though I'm slow to talk. When we are in the playroom and it's time to eat, change my diaper, or wake up Cora from her nap, I know exactly where to go and what to do! I'm a good listener, just like Daddy!
Hopefully Daddy isn't upset by me playing with dolls, but the stroller is the only walking toy he allows on the hardwood floors downstairs. I like to push the stroller around and if Cora has left one of her dollies downstairs, I will put her in the stroller and push her around.
