Greenway Explorer Extraordinare!

The past two weekends, the weather has cooperated so we can go explore some greenways near our house. The coolest thing about the greenways were the bridges that we went under and that we crossed. My favorite was a huge bridge that we used to cross over a river! It had big cables and we were really high! It was by far my favorite of our two greenway walks, although it was fun when we had to walk through the woods to get around a big puddle that was blocking the greenway. Daddy carried me on his shoulders and we jumped over logs and had to watch out for branches hitting our heads.
One of the parks we visited was called Horseshoe Farm. It's a wide open field that was very windy. Mommy liked it so much she took me back this week so that I could fly a kite!

An Adorable Valentine!

I am THE most adorable Valentine! Maybe that's why I got so many great Valentine's from my friends at school. We decorated boxes at school in preparation for our Valentine's Day celebration. Before our party, I didn't really understand why we were doing it, but once I saw everyone putting goodies in my box and I put their goodies into their boxes it all made sense. I made Lauralye's Valentine extra special! We also decorated cookies at school as a special treat. I had a lingering cold the past week or so, but thankfully I was feeling much better by Valentine's day. I always lose my appetite when I'm not feeling well, so luckily I was able to enjoy in the sweets from the holiday!
