Smarty Pants

I'm not even sure if I need to start school next week because I already talk like a kid that has completed Pre-K 3. For example, we went to the airport observation park today to watch airplanes and I knew that the back part of the airplane was called the tail! Then, the other day when something would happen, really when anything would happen I would say, "That's just life!"
Mommy and I had a nice day on Friday. We had a good morning at the pond, then in the afternoon we went shopping together to buy the supplies I need for school! I got to pick out my own backpack! I loved it so much I wore it in the store (even when we paid for it), to the car, around the house, and to the bus stop to pick up Cora! Hopefully when I go to school with it next week, I will have a great time, because I am definitely prepared!

Crazy Happenings

Picnic time with Daddy!

Making a dump truck with ice!
After school ice pop!
I'm STILL waiting for school to start - but thankfully I get to spend time with Mommy and Cora keeps me entertained with all the crazy things she has been up to. Some days she goes to school with crazy hair, crazy socks and one day she went in her pajamas! What I do know is I still get to enjoy an ice pop when Cora gets home from school! It's the least Mommy can do for me when I have to spend the entire day with her! This week we had to go get the Green Bandit fixed. I didn't mind having to go and as a special treat Daddy came and picked us up at the car place and we had a picnic lunch at a park! I'm lucky that I get to spend time with just Mommy and Daddy!
Mommy was very pleased that I was really well behaved during Cora's birthday party today! All of her friends were there, but luckily before everyone got there I got to play at the park with just Cora. She got me to climb up into the big kids' playground and go down the slide all by myself! The best part about her party was I got to eat as much as I wanted, which by the way, I am hungry all the time these days!
The day after Cora's party we got to go to a Durham Bulls game! The best thing about the game this time was that the bull's eyes lit up red, smoke came out of his nose and his tail was wagging after a home run. There were THREE home runs at this game so we got to see it THREE times! Another special thing about this ballgame was we had balloons made for us. Cora got a horse and I got a helicopter! It was so cool!! Most people didn't know exactly what it was, but I didn't care, I just waved hit high!

Fun Chairs that Move

I still miss Cora during the week. One day when we were waiting for her to come home on the bus I called her my Favorite Friend. That, she is. During the weekends we always have fun together. Last weekend we went to a baseball game where we polished off a huge bucket of popcorn while we watched the game, then when it got dark we saw fireworks! We also had a visitor with us during the weekend. Ethan went out of town and we had to watch his fish, Red. I liked to watch him and it was fun having a pet for two days.
Although it's just Mommy and me during the days, I have been busy at appointments enhancing my appearance. For some reason, every appointment that I go to, I sit in chairs that go up and down. First, it started with a teeth cleaning at the dentist. I was not so sure about going to the dentist, but the chair was fun to sit in and my teeth aren't rotten so it wasn't that bad. Daddy did a good job helping me feel comfortable for my first time. Later in the week I went to get my haircut and I had fun in the chair kicking my feet in the air underneath my smock. Mommy took me to a different hair salon for my haircut and I like the chair at this place much better than the other salon!

A Visit to Virginia

We took a day trip to Virginia to visit Uncle Mike, Aunt Sandy, Kaitlyn and Lauren! We spent most of the day cooling off in their pool! Swimming with Mommy wasn't working out for me so I got to swim with everybody else and enjoy spending time with them. At one point, Sandy and I had the pool all to ourselves. After enjoying the backyard, we went in for dinner and got to explore all of the toys in Lauren's room.  Before I knew it though, we were on our way home.
As we were driving home, I complained about being hungry. Mommy and Daddy have noticed that I have been eating more (still very slowly) and that I am starting to look taller. My 3T clothes are starting to fit better and my legs are lengthening. I am growing! Mommy thinks I have grown a whole inch since my well visit two months ago!
