Hanging with the Guys

I really love Cora. She and I make great play companions. If she is home, I rarely am farther than a few feet away from her. There are, however a few occasions when I don't mind being away from her. First, when we have been around each other all day and we start to get on each other's nerves. And, when there's other guys (that I know well) around, I will stray a bit farther than a few feet from her. We got to spend an afternoon last week at "the" Pullen Park. I loved the carousel and the boats! There was so much to do, I didn't care what Cora was doing. We went to visit Anderson (and everybody else that used to live next door to us) and it was fun playing with them. They showed me how to ride a big boy bicycle! Even today, we went to a new park and met my friend Andrew from school there. It's fun meeting with people and exploring new places!

March Madness

The basketball games haven't even started and March is already in a full madness swing! There have been birthdays to celebrate, (Grammie, Mommy and Mimi) outdoor activities galore and a special visit from Mimi and Papa! When they were here, they took us to the Marbles Museum for a picnic lunch and a fun afternoon playing in the museum. Although they tried to get me to explore other exhibits, I preferred to stay around my favorite bus. I must have driven it 10 times! Driving any vehicle is fun, but nothing beats the bus! Cora still went to school in the mornings so I got to enjoy special time with Mimi and Papa reading, building with blocks, driving trucks and working on puzzles. Mimi and Papa bought me a "car" shirt (Hawaiian shirt) when they visited Hawaii and they got such a kick out of me wearing it because I only wanted to wear my "car" over my clothes!

Dinosaurs! Raaaaaah!

My new favorite thing to do is roar! This past week I roared so much, my voice went horse. I must have known we were going to visit the DINOSAURS, so I could roar at them! The first dinosaur I saw when we were in line to buy tickets really scared me because it was walking around and talking, but Daddy promised me he would hold me and protect me from the dinosaurs. By the end of the exhibit I forgot that I was ever afraid of the dinosaurs. My favorite dinosaur was the baby T-Rex, and my favorite activity was climbing on the little dinosaurs at the Dino Den.
After a fun morning at Discover the Dinosaurs, now I'm really excited about roaring. I roar at people when I'm mad at them, I roar when I'm excited and I have even been heard roaring when I'm supposed to be sleeping at nap time. Who doesn't like a good roar??
