During our trip to Pennsylvania, we celebrated the Fourth of July!! Although I was not able to partake in most of the yummy food that people celebrate the summer holiday with, I did enjoy spending time at Grammie and Gramps' camp. By the end of the day I was exhausted because there was a lot of open grass area where I could just walk around and enjoy myself. I could walk up to someone, they would hug me, then I would walk off and explore something else. We took family pictures as well, but I wasn't too thrilled about it. I made sure everyone knew it by screaming!

In addition to celebrating my first Independence Day on our trip to Pennsylvania, we visited some fun places, one being the Farmer's Inn. I got to see a lot of cool animals that we have read about in books. The goats really liked talking to me, so I would talk back to them, trying to mimic their annoying wails. The baby goats were cute though. Cora named a deer Adam when it started following her around after she fead it. After we saw the animals we went to a playground where I had fun with Gramps and climbing around all the fun wooden trucks.

Back at home I have been practicing some new words along with feeding myself. I haven't gotten too far with either of those activities, but it's coming slowly. I have attempted to say banana, baby, and poop, but they don't come out very clearly. I've got the word Daddy down and I still just smile when mommy tries to make me say "Mommy." I have been able to eat yogurt once on my own, but that was a fluke and I much prefer someone feeding it to me instead. Over time, I will get the hang of things - like my sippy cup. I started getting juice and water in it a few weeks ago and I finally know how to use it now with little choking. Now I just gulp out of it because I love the taste of juice!
I have also mastered sitting in the comfy chair - I am really good at climbing in and out of it, and I sometimes enjoy sitting in it and relaxing for a bit!
