I have started to realize that I have learned an awful lot at school these past few months. We do a lot of tracing letters with paint at school and I love it! At home, Cora is constantly coloring. There's usually papers, crayons and colored pencils covering the kitchen table, sometimes so much that you can't even see the table! All of the work at school and practice at home is starting to pay off. Just last week I drew my first recognizable "person" on a piece of paper and Mommy was so proud of it she hung it on the refrigerator. Well, now that I know that we can hang stuff on the refrigerator, I've been making a whole lot of art for it. I hung at least 8 pieces of artwork on the refrigerator the other day. Mommy came over later to look at it, only to realize that on one of the papers I had written 9's, p's and the letter A. Now I just need to learn the rest of the 24 letters…I've been potty trained for a year now. Now, I guess you could say I am fully potty trained because I don't need any help going into the bathroom on my own and taking care of business. One day, however I was waiting so long to go that I would get to the bathroom and scream that I had to go so bad I couldn't pull my pants down. And it happened multiple times. By the end of the day, this is a conversation I had with Mommy:
Mommy: Adam, I wish you wouldn't wait until it's an emergency to go pee.
Me: Do ambulances have toilets?
Sometimes some surprising comments come out of my mouth. One night, as we were talking at the dinner table, I began my thought by saying, "Speaking of that…" I'm pretty sure that my comments combined with my cuteness always make Mommy and Daddy smile and laugh!
