Guess where I went this week?!?! I went to Kindergarten! I wouldn't say that I have officially started Kindergarten yet because I was only at the school on Thursday. That morning, I woke up, got ready and Dad took me to Jones Dairy Elementary where I had a practice day in my classroom with a few other students in my class. We learned about the classroom, what our schedule would be like during the day and we took a tour of the school looking for Pete the Cat! Dad was proud of how well I confidently walked into the school, went straight to my classroom (Cora told me what to look for) and marched right in without hesitation. It was a great day, and it all ended with a bus ride home! That was my very favorite part of the day! Luckily, Cora was on the bus and she told me to get off the bus at our stop - otherwise I don't think I would have been getting off the bus!
My first day at Kindergarten was especially memorable because the night before, Cora and I had a campout in the living room because the upstairs air conditioner wasn't working. Talk about exciting!
I can't wait to see what happens when I go for my real very first day of kindergarten!
