Farewell to 1008!

The Empire State building.
No sooner had we gotten home from our trip, than we were packing the house up and preparing for our big move to Raleigh! I had a feeling that good things were to come in our new apartment. And I'm not even bothered by the size of the apartment at all! Cora and I share a room we call the nursery because we do everything in our room! Even though I don't have most of my toys, I manage to build tower after tower with the Duplo Blocks. I like to use my tablet to look up the tallest buildings in each city, then I build it with my blocks. For example, the Hancock Building is the tallest skyscraper in Boston, and I have built that at least 20 times. I have so much fun doing it!

The very first week we moved in, we had a special visit from Uncle
Marcus, Aunt Tracie and Saige. We had such a fun few days with them! On
the first day, we went swimming together in the morning, then spent the
afternoon at the Bird Park. It was great fun! When we got back to
Raleigh we went downtown for dinner. We spent the entire next day at the
Museum of Life and Science. We finished the day with an evening swim at
the pool. The weekend flew by it was time for them to return to Austin.
I'm glad they came to visit, we make great cousins!

My head is completely submerged!
As I mentioned, I've become a new man since we've embarked on this new apartment adventure. In just a few short weeks, I feel like I have grown an inch; I've proven that I can go under the water at the pool AND swim (I had to show I could swim to get a new pair of goggles); and the most exciting milestone of all - I finally lost my first tooth! No more shark tooth! I'd say I've adjusted fairly, in fact I've embraced myself as a new guy! I could get used to this summer lifestyle, park in the morning, pool at night, play all day!
